Total and Aston Martin sign a new global partnership
- Total joins #astonmartin #racing as ‘Official Lubricant and Technical Partner’
- Total becomes energy partner of Aston Martin
- Aston Martin recommends #total Excellium fuel
Tuesday 10 May, Gaydon/Paris: Aston Martin and #astonmartin #racing is proud to announce its new #partnership with global energy company #total.
Aston Martin and #total have signed a global #partnership agreement. #total will become an energy partner to #astonmartin throughout 2016 and 2017, providing its products to the luxury British marque and its official motorsport outfit; #astonmartin #racing.
As part of the agreement, #total will support #astonmartin #racing throughout the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), becoming the “Official Lubricant and Technical Partner” of #astonmartin #racing. With 45 years of R&D and experience in the area of motor #racing, #total has developed lubricants, greases, fluids and special additives of high quality and technical performance.
All three V8 Vantage GTE cars entered by #astonmartin #racing in this year’s WEC will race with #total lubricants and, for the first time outside of Formula 1, #total will provide a mobile laboratory and technical support with a dedicated engineer present at each WEC race #event.
Total and #astonmartin will also explore options for further opportunities to utilise the energy supplier’s #total Excellium products.
