Mahias in for Marino at Magny-Cours

Pata #yamaha Official STK1000 Team's Florian Marino will unfortunately take no further part in this weekend's FIM Superstock 1000 Cup at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours after being declared unfit by the attending medical director. The young Frenchman was eager to return to competition at his home race having worked tirelessly to recover from the injuries sustained at Assen's second round, but championship officials and the circuit medical team believe a longer rehabilitation period is still required.

Marino will continue with his current intensive training and physiotherapy schedule in his bid to return to full fitness, and is as determined as ever to be back on his YZF-R1M as soon as possible. The Pata #yamaha Official STK1000 Team would like to thank him for his indomitable passion and commitment and look forward to welcoming him back in the near future. Compatriot Lucas Mahias will again stand in for Marino for the Fassi French Round this weekend as he looks to repeat the impressive showing achieved on his team debut at Misano.
