While the Formula 1 World Championship enters the decisive phase next weekend in Brazil, #maroengel is preparing for the next highlight of the season - the FIA GT World Cup in Macau. This week's important dates and events News snippets StatAttack: The Brazilian Grand Prix next weekend will be the 44th in the history of the sport. The race venue has been favourable to the Silver Arrows over the past two years. The team celebrated one-two victories in 2014 and 2015, and on both occasions Nico Rosberg occupied the top spot of the podium. Lewis Hamilton finished second and set the fastest race lap both times. The contests for pole position were also dominated by Mercedes, with Nico twice claiming the best position on the grid (pole times: 1:10.023 minutes and 1:11.282 minutes). Birthday boy: DTM rookie Felix Rosenqvist turned 25 birthday on Monday 7 November. The Swede began the year as official test and reserve driver for the Mercedes-AMG DTM Team. He made his DTM race debut on the Moscow race weekend, stepping in for Esteban Ocon who had been promoted to Formula 1. In his very first DTM race, Felix finished in the points, a performance he repeated at the Hungaroring where he came eighth and registered his best result of the 2016 DTM season.
