Sert starts Le Mans 24-hours a positive 6th

Defending World Champions and current series leaders, Suzuki Endurance #racing Team, will start tomorrow’s 40th Anniversary #lemans 24-Hour Race from sixth position on the grid after final qualifying today.
SERT riders Vincent Philippe, Etienne Masson and Alex Cudlin spent today’s final sessions at the 4.18km Circuit Bugatti in France dialling-in their GSX-R1000 ready for tomorrow’s race.
Both Masson and Cudlin improved their times dramatically today, but Philippe set the pace initially yesterday with the team and combined, SERT, sits just 1.047 from pole-setters and defending 2016 #lemans winners SRC Kawasaki.
Tomorrow’s event will be a poignant moment for everyone at Suzuki and others on the starting-grid without SERT’s Anthony Delhalle, who succumbed to injuries in a pre-season test.
