Clément Desalle wins in France

Clement Desalle of the Monster Energy #kawasakiracing Team raced to an impressive victory in the French round of the FIM #mxgp World #motocross Championship at Ernée and is now third in the standings.

The immaculate Belgian was in impressive form all weekend as he raced to an unchallenged victory in qualification and was again on the top of his game on race day. Quickly fourth in race one, he was closing down on third until one small mistake temporarily cost him ground at as significant time of the race, but he was back on the riders head of him by the close to miss second place by just over two seconds. A better start in race two saw Clement quickly take over the lead and he was never put under pressure again as he could ride his own lines and control the pace from the front. The victory lifts him to third in the points standings, just eight points behind second as the series approaches the halfway stage two weeks from now in Russia.
