Double victory for Grenier and Spinelli in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe at the Nürburgring

It has been a perfect weekend that of the Nürburgring for Mikaël Grenier and Loris Spinelli, in the fifth and penultimate round of the #lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe. After dominating from the pole on Saturday, the duo of Antonelli Motorsport managed to grant an “encore” in Race 2, which took place in mixed conditions with a wet track, which however tended to dry up. The two drivers scored their fifth success of the season and shot to the top of the PRO standings. The drive-thru received by Jonathan Cecotto for not respecting the minimum time imposed during the pit-stop, when he got into the car and took over the wheel from Vito Postiglione, relegated the duo of Imperiale #racing to the fifth position. The two drivers arrived in Germany as leaders of the standings but they are now second with a “gap” of three points from the top position and are four points ahead of Rik Breukers and Axcil Jefferies (GDL Racing), who finished third. After celebrating the pole position obtained by the Brazilian driver, Raphael Abbate and Yuki Nemoto finished second with the car of VS #racing and still remain eligible for Imola’s final round with a 12-point disadvantage against Grenier and Spinelli.
