Cosimo Barberini is the champion for the Trofeo Abarth Selenia 2017

For the second consecutive year the Italian #cosimobarberini imposes himself in the #trofeoabarthselenia. Driving his #abarth 695 Assetto Corse Evoluzione, he won the two final races for the seasonal appointments, disputed on the difficult #mugello circuit, where numerous Scorpionship's passionates and members of Abarth's clubs participated and saw a series of spectacular competitions where the protagonists where also the young pilots of F4 motorized #abarth
Barberini was already certain of his title before the two races, as his principal adversary, the Finnish Juuso Pajuranta went off track in the warm lap and didn't manage to start the race. In race 1, Barberini arrived before the Swedish Joakim Darbom, that managed to momentarily surpass Pajuranta in the championship rank.
In race 2 Barberini won again, before Pajuranta, and thanks to this result he consolidated his place in the championship. A great third place for the young Andrea Mabellini. 
Cosimo Barberini, 27 years old from Montaione in province of Florence, is a young imprendator that came closer to the motor world with motocross races. When he was 20 he passed onto karts and in 2014 he began to race in the #trofeoabarthselenia. In 2015 he had his first successes, like a second place in the #trofeoabarthselenia Italia and a third place in the #trofeoabarthselenia Europa. In 2016 he had his first success in the #trofeoabarthselenia, that he replied this year with 7 victories in 14 races. 
The three races of the Italian F4 Championship powered by #abarth were quite compelling as they were the second to last appointment of the season. Sebastian Fernandez from Venezuela won the first and third races, while in the second one the winner was the leader of the championship, Marcus Armstrong from New Zealand. At three races from the last appointment in Monza (21-22 October), he imposes himself as the leader with an advantage of 53 points over Job Van Uiter from Holland, in second place. Third place for the Italian Lorenzo Colombo.
