In Geneva the presentation of 1000 Miglia 2018: 450 crews from 5 continents


From Wednesday May 16th to Saturday May 19th, vehicles from 72 car companies will cross 7 regions, over 200 cities of art and culture, from Brescia to Rome and return. Participation requests for the “unique traveling museum in the world”, as 1000 Miglia has been described by Enzo Ferrari, are constantly growing.

The 1000 Miglia 2018, thirty-sixth re-enactment of the speed race disputed between 1927 and 1957, presents the first big news at the Geneva Motor Show. The race will leave Brescia on Wednesday May 16th and return to the city of the Lioness in the afternoon of Saturday May 19t.
To make Brescia, the City of 1000 Miglia, living an entire week dedicated to Freccia Rossa and related events, everything will be anticipated of one day compared to tradition, in order to have the “White Night” the day of the race arrival.

Four legs (from Brescia to Cervia-Milano Marittima, from Cervia-Milano Marittima to Rome, from Rome to #parma and from #parma to Brescia) will cover 1,700 kilometers of Italian roads characterized by evocative and artistic landscapes, with the involvement of 450 vintage cars of extraordinary historical, technical and sporting value, belonging to 72 different car companies.

For the fifth consecutive 10 cars belonging to the Military category will be attending, led by representatives of the Armed Forces.

The race, symbol of Italian excellence in the world, able to combine tradition and innovation, sportiness and elegance, internationality and Italian lifestyle, will once again be the prologue of two collateral events reserved for 130 modern cars: the Ferrari Tribute to 1000 Miglia and the Mercedes Benz 1000 Miglia Challenge.
