Dodge becomes Official Car and Official Safety Car of the WorldSBK Championship
- Announced today the partnership between Dodge Europe and the WorldSBK Championship, a collaboration set to redefine the standards of speed, power and performance on and off the track.
- Dodge will take centre stage by providing a fleet of five vehicles: two Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat as Official Safety Cars and one as an Expo Car next to the podium during the awards ceremony, and two Dodge Durango SRT serving as the Race Direction and FIM Safety Officer official cars.
- The partnership is underlined by Dodge's presence even on the top podium step during the exciting award ceremonies.
Dodge Europe announces that it will be alongside the WorldSBK Championship as Official Car and Official Safety Car for the 2024 season. A collaboration totally in line with the powerful and gritty spirit that always characterised the American brand, and for the first time puts it in touch with the sports competition world by becoming part of an exclusive partner roster.
For the collaboration, Dodge will provide a fleet of five high-performance vehicles featuring a 'SBK™' total look livery specially designed for the partnership, iconic models of the brand, which will carry out different functions. Two Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, equipped with the iconic 6.2L HEMI V8 engine producing 717 Hp, will take on the role of Official Safety Cars of the competition; one Dodge Durango SRT, with 6.4-litre HEMI V8 engine producing 475 hp, and one Dodge Durango Hellcat SUV, with 6.2-litre HEMI V8 engine producing 710 hp, will instead serve as the Race Direction and FIM Safety Officer official cars. Plus, the American brand will take centre stage also during the exciting award ceremonies after each race, through two visibility sources: Dodge will feature on the top podium step and through “product on track” billboards, with the onsite visibility from a third Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye as a static Expo Car present alongside the podium. The five vehicles will thus gain mixed visibility during the competition steps.

The WorldSBK Championship
The WorldSBK Championship is the most important and popular world championship in the motorbike discipline: the competition is dedicated to motorbikes deriving from series production, i.e. two-wheeled vehicles normally designed for road use. The event represents the apex of quality and spectacle in competition, so much so that every year it reaches a total of more than half a million spectators at trackside throughout the season.
The 2024 WorldSBK Championship will start at the end of February in Australia, at the Phillip Island circuit, before continuing with eleven more races throughout the year, all contested on the European continent.
Dodge's role in the 2024 WorldSBK Championship
For the first time, Dodge is joining forces with a motorsport competition: two worlds linked by common roots and values, which are reflected in the brand's brutal, gritty and pure power spirit. For the 2024 season, the partnership envisages a fleet of five high-performance vehicles provided by Dodge for the entire duration of the WorldSBK Championship: models connected with the history and main characteristics of the American brand. Dodge will always take centre stage thanks to the constant trackside presence of two Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat in Go Mango tones, which will patrol the Championship rounds in the role of Official Safety Cars of WorldSBK, providing a perfect match to the racing Superbikes. In addition, the powerful 6.2-litre, 717 Hp HEMI V8 engine powering the two iconic muscle cars guarantees a performance level that not only allows for precise assessment of track conditions, but also ensures officials can always intervene swiftly.
Alongside these are one Dodge Durango SRT, with 6.4-litre HEMI V8 engine producing 475 hp, and one Dodge Durango Hellcat SUV, with 6.2-litre HEMI V8 engine producing 710 hp, combining the high efficiency and practicality required to fulfil the role of Race Direction and FIM Safety Officer official cars.
Lastly, Dodge will also star during the award ceremonies of each race, through two visibility sources: brand presence on the top podium step, with high visibility positioning in conjunction with the most emotional moment of the entire motorbike weekend, and through “product on track” billboards, with the onsite visibility from a third Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye with 6.2-litre HEMI V8 807 Hp as a static Expo Car present alongside the podium.
Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Jailbreak
This iconic model fully embodies the essence of the Dodge soul, in terms of design and high performance. Not surprisingly, three of the five total cars in the fleet will be Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcats. The vehicle is part of those models benefiting from the “Last Call” tribute: in fact, on this occasion Dodge decided to extend the Jailbreak package to the 717-horsepower Challenger and Charger SRT Hellcat as well, in order to offer enthusiasts truly unlimited customization possibilities in building their own muscle car, with unique personalization of every single detail.
The blazing vehicle is an iconic model, 2,080 kg of pure and rare power supplied by a supercharged 6.2 L V-8 engine with 717 hp and 535 kW. Available in 14 exterior body colors, inside the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat boasts exclusive Alcantara/Laguna seats.
Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat
Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat is a pure power concentrate, characterised by a perfect combination of uncompromised utility, advanced technology, confident driving dynamics, iconic styling. The most powerful three-row-SUV in the world, the model is powered by a 6.2-litre HEMI V8 engine producing 710 hp and provides above-average performance, perfect for satisfying the power desires of enthusiasts. The great aesthetic impact of the impressive model, characterised by the gritty and sporty lines typical of muscle cars, is combined with the high efficiency and practicality required for the role the car will play in the 2024 WorldSBK Championship.
