Moto3 test at Jerez-Bastianini quickly back in the groove. good progress for di giannantonio

After facing two days of testing in #valencia ten days ago, the Gresini #racing Team #moto3 was back on track today at the Jerez circuit with #eneabastianini and #fabiodigiannantonio.
Bastianini set the second fastest time of the day with 1'47"683, working well with his technicians, trying to find set-up solutions aimed mainly at improving the behaviour of his Honda machine in the fastest parts of the track. On the other side of the garage, rookie Di Giannantonio took another important step in his apprenticeship path, completing 57 laps and setting at midday a lap time of 1'48"959.
Tomorrow the team will be back on track for another day of testing before the official IRTA #moto3 test, scheduled again at Jerez de la Frontera from 2 to 4 March.
ENEA BASTIANINI (1'47"683 - 47 laps) "It was a fun and productive day: we started more or less from the base reached in the previous test at #valencia and we started working from there, finding interesting solutions. We will try to improve in the faster corners, where at the moment the bike is still a bit unstable, although actually towards the end of the day we already found a direction that could lead us to identify the problem and therefore find a good solution"
FABIO DI GIANNANTONIO (1'48"959 - 57 laps)
"I'm still learning, but today I was more comfortable on the bike compared to the first test in #valencia: the fact that I know very well the track of Jerez probably helped me. We used a very similar set-up to the one we had used in #valencia, focusing on gaining more and more feeling. Personally I'm very happy, at mid-day I scored a good lap time and also my team seem happy with the work we are doing. At the end of the day I also tried to get a fast lap on new tyres, but after nearly 60 laps I was a bit tired".FAUSTO GRESINI"I'm very happy with the work we are doing: Enea maintained a good pace and at the end of the day was able to stay immediately at the top, although at this time the fast lap is not our priority. I'm also pleased with the attitude of Fabio, who is taking the right time to learn".
