Putting the finishing touches to what has been an impressive 2016 #enduro World Championship campaign, #loiclarrieu has secured two more #enduro 2 class podium results for the Outsiders Yamaha Official #enduro 2 Team during his home GP of France.

Faced with dry, warm and dusty conditions during the #racing weekend in Cahors, both Larrieu and his teammate #cristobalguerrero continued to show the potential of their WR450F machines in demanding conditions.

Racing in front of his home crowd, Larrieu started the GP with the second best time during the opening Super Test. Knowing that he had the speed to battle for the top he delivered a great fight throughout day one that saw him top the #enduro 2 class standings on two out of nine tests. He eventually finished a very close third. With the first three riders in #enduro 2 also battling for the overall #endurogp podium, Larrieu was seven seconds behind a provisional first outright victory.

Stepping things up on day two, the WR450F mounted rider found himself involved in a fierce battle for the top in both the #enduro 2 and the overall #endurogp classes. With the fight going down to the wire, he concluded the day as runner-up in both classes, less than eight seconds again behind eventual winner Taylor Robert.

Following what's been one of the most successful GPs of his whole season, Larrieu wrapped up his debut season aboard the revolutionary new WR450F with an impressive third position in the #enduro 2 championship standings.

For Larrieu's teammate #cristobalguerrero the season finale in France proved to be a challenging one. Carrying a serious knee injury he picked up at the GP of Italy the Spaniard took the bold decision to contest the #event trying to make it to the #enduro 2 podium.

Completing the first two laps of day one Cristobal felt intense pain and decided not to continue the race. Despite not scoring any points in France, he wrapped up the season sixth in the #enduro 2 championship standings.
