Weather: FP3: overcast and damp/dry, 25-26°C air, 26-28°C track; Qualifying: overcast and dry, 23-24°C air, 26-28°C track A disappointing qualifying for the #sauber #f1 Team ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix on the #suzuka Circuit. In the #sauber C35-Ferrari, Marcus Ericsson and Felipe Nasr finished in P19 and P20. Marcus Ericsson (car number 9): #sauber C35-Ferrari (Chassis 04/Ferrari) Qualifying: 19th in Q1 (1:33.222 min / soft tyres) 3 rd practice: 18th (1:34.544 min / soft tyres / 13 laps) “It has been a tricky weekend so far. Compared to last weekend in Malaysia, here it has been more challenging to point the car in a direction where I wanted it to be. Therefore, it was rather a difficult qualifying, so we cannot be satisfied with this result. It is a new day tomorrow, and we will fight back.” Felipe Nasr (car number 12): #sauber C35-Ferrari (Chassis 03/Ferrari) Qualifying: 20th in Q1 (1:33.332 min / soft tyres) 3 rd practice: 17th (1:34.388 min / soft tyres / 12 laps) “It was a disappointing qualifying for us. My first run in Q1 was good, and I put in a decent lap time. When I went out for the second try I could not bring the tyres up to the ideal working window. In the end I could not improve my lap time. I am very disappointed with this result. We need to understand what happened.”
