Leading riders from the paddock take a tour of the LOOK cycle factory.

Newly crowned Superbike World Champion Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team), Niccolò Canepa (Althea Racing), Markus Reiterberger (VanZon Remeha BMW), Pawel Szkopek (Szkopek POLand POSITION) together with local riders Christophe Ponsson (Team Pedercini), Lucas Mahias (MG Competition), Jeremy Guarnoni (Team Trasimeno), Matthieu Lussiana (Team ASPI) Mathieu Dumas (Team OGP) and the Chairman of the Board of the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours, Serge Saulnier, were given an exclusive tour of the LOOK cycle factory in Nevers where they were able to see first-hand where all the designing and product development takes place.

LOOK has a unique history within bicycle sport dating back to 1984. Inventors of the clipless pedal, of the first carbon framed cycle and of the first track single-piece carbon frame, LOOK is a worldwide leader that has won the Bike of the Year award in France four times and the excursion ahead of the on-track action tomorrow was of great interest to the riders that attended with many stating that cycling plays a huge part of their pre-race preparation.

The WorldSBK riders were able to visit some areas of the factory forbidden to the public, where the highly technological process of making and assembling the LOOK cycles happens.

After the tour, the riders returned to the Magny-Cours circuit where they participated in a number of on stage autograph sessions for the many fans who were taking advantage of the 'open paddock'.

Free Practice sessions for all classes ahead of qualifying on Saturday begins tomorrow morning at 08:45 local time. You can follow all of the action as it happens via the Live Timing link on WorldSBK.com.
