Warm up for this year’s Faro 35 motorcycle rally with Indian Motorcycle

Thousands expected at the 35th #faromotorcyclerally in Portugal (Thu 14th to Sun 17th July)
#indian Motorcycle is the main #sponsor – chance to win an #indian Scout Sixty
• Cold beer for #indian (and Victory owners) on the Friday and Saturday nights

Indian Motorcycle is proud to announce its sponsorship of the four-day-long #faromotorcyclerally in sunny Portugal this July.

Now in its 35th year, the #faromotorcyclerally (called Faro 35) is the biggest biker gathering in Southern Europe and draws in around 20,000 bikers from 2pm on the Thursday right through to Sunday night.

The rally is held in a beautiful location near the beach and one of the most exclusive areas in the Algarve (Quinta do Lago).

Its appeal is simple; hot and sunny weather, sparkling sea, great roads and plenty of live music and entertainment.

Highlights include:

24-hour bars – Live concerts each night – Erotic shows each night – Wet T-shirt contest – Bike Show – Trade stands – Biker Fair – Tattoo stands – Tattoo contest – Camping

This year there will be an officially branded #indian (and a Victory) road with a exclusive motorcycle parking area for owners as well as a hospitality area serving cold drinks. Visitors will also be able to look at the MY16 models in a special display area.

The #moto Clube Faro (organisers of the show) run a raffle over the weekend and the main prize is an #indian Scout Sixty (to win the bike you have to be present when they announce the winner).

Indian Motorcycle’s marketing specialist for Spain, Miriam Torrens, explains why Faro 35 is such a great #event for bikers from all over Europe: “The atmosphere at Faro is the perfect mix of hospitality, good music, terrific weather and incredible views for riders passing through the Algarve region in the South of Portugal.”

“The rally takes place a few kilometres from the sea where you can enjoy the best seafood in the region. These are the things that have drawn thousands of bikers over the years, mainly from Portugal, Spain and the UK, but also from the Netherlands, France and Germany.”
