Double win of the Movistar Yamaha Moto GP Team in the “Motul de la Republica Argentina” Grand Prix
- Young Maverick Viñales wins ahead of team mate Valentino Rossi.
- Abarth-Yamaha is a winning combination on the road too, with the new Abarth 695 XSR and the #yamaha XSR900 Abarth motorbike.
The resounding double win of the Movistar #yamaha #moto GP team in the "Motul de la Republica Argentina" Grand Prix reasserts the winning alliance of Abarth and the Japanese team, expressed by the new numbered limited edition Abarth 695 XSR #yamaha, made in collaboration with #yamaha Motor Europe. This partnership also spawned the #yamaha XSR900 Abarth, a unique motorbike made by two of the most dynamic brands of the world motoring scene.
Young rider Maverick Viñales took the competition by a storm to repeat in #argentina his success in the opening race in Qatar, while super champion Valentino Rossi staged an impressive comeback during the race, ending second. With this incredible start of the season, the two Movistar #yamaha #moto GP Team riders are first and second in the World Championship ranking and the team supported by Abarth is clearly leading the team scoreboard.
As a result of this prestigious partnership with #yamaha, Abarth is confirmed as the #automotive brand which is most capable of conveying the real essence of the race track, in addition to sharing the values of sportsmanship and desire to excel that both the brand with the Scorpion badge and the one with the tuning fork emblem have rooted in their DNA. In the wake of the thrilling Abarth 595 #yamaha Factory #racing and the 695 biposto #yamaha Factory #racing Edition comes the new Abarth 695 XSR #yamaha Limited Edition special series, available exclusively with a Pista Grey livery: only 695 sedans and 695 convertibles will be made. The new car was created to celebrate the #yamaha XSR900 Abarth, which is the exclusive motorcycle resulting from the collaboration between the two brands and which sports the same grey livery with red trim as the 695 XSR in addition to sharing many of its features. It is a lightweight yet high-performing café racer and the first motorbike to spring from the partnership of the two brands in the scope of the #yamaha Faster Son programme.
