Career best qualifying result for Cervellin
Back on home soil today in Arco Italy, Michele Cervellin started off the European leg of #mxgp today with a career best qualifying result.
Putting together everything he had learnt from the overseas races, Cervellin started well and found himself in seventh position within the first corner. The better start paid off as he very quickly made his into the top sixth continuing to fight for positions. Keeping his head level and riding smooth, with ten minutes to go Cervellin raced into the top four and held onto this position for the rest of the race.
With this positive start to the weekend, Cervellin will carry this momentum into tomorrow’s races.
The first MX2 race starts at 13:15 local time tomorrow.
