The next weekend will be packed with exciting new challenges for #abarth drivers - from rallies in France and Spain to the fourth race of the ADAC F4 Championship powered by #abarth in Austria, not to mention the Rally d'Italia Sardegna with 2018 Aci #rallyitaliatalent sponsored by #abarth winners Andrea Nori and Sofia Peruzzi in an official #abarth 500 R3T.

Abarth 124 rally in France and Spain

The Rallye des Vosges, the four round of the French Championship, in which the Milano #racing team is competing, will be held in France. The #abarth 124 rally GT+ will be driven this time by Raphael Astier, the brilliant R-GT category winner in the Tour de Corse, which counts for the FIA Cup, instead of up-and-coming driver Nicolas Ciamin (FRA), who will be competing for the World Championship in Sardinia in the scope of the young driver project of the French Federation.
"I am very excited to be able to compete in a round of the French championship", said Astier. "It is an excellent training opportunity for me ahead of the next FIA R-GT event - the Rally di Roma - in which I will need to defend my lead in the championship ranking".
Astier, with crew mate Frederic Vauclaire, will be called to tackle a 544-kilometre course, with 12 special stages on tarmac for a total of 183 kilometres at high speed.
In Spain, Alberto Monarri (SPA) and Rodrigo Sanjuàn (SPA) of the SMC Junior Motorsport team will be defending their lead in the Two-Wheel Drive Trophy of the Rallye De Ourense, the fourth event of the Spanish Tarmac Championship season. The pair have dominated this year in the R-GT category scoring excellent results on absolute level. The Rallye will start in Mira Do Rio, near Ourense. The 506-kilometre-long course will count 26 stages with a total of 182 kilometres at high speed.

The fourth round of ADAC F4 Championship powered by #abarth in Austria

After the #italianf4championship powered by #abarth races in Monza - won by Leonardo Lorandi (ITA, two wins) and William Alatalo (FIN) - the single-seaters with the #abarth engines will be on the track in Austria with thirty or so very young drivers for the fourth round of the ADAC F4 Championship powered by #abarth on the Red Bull Ring. German Lirim Zendeli is leading the ranking ahead of New Zealander Liam Lawson. Race 1 will be on Saturday at 11.05 a.m. and Race 2 at 4.35 p.m. Race 3 will be at 09.50 on Sunday morning.

The winners of the 2018 Aci #rallyitaliatalent sponsored #abarth in the Rally d'Italia Sardegna.

The exciting Rally d'Italia Sardegna, the only Italian race that counts for the Rally World Championship, will be staged from June 7 to 10 starting from Alghero. Andrea Nori, 22 years old from Bassano del Grappa and Sofia Peruzzi, 22 years old from Montecchio Maggiore, the winners of the fifth edition of Aci #rallyitaliatalent sponsored by #abarth, will also be taking part. It will be a dream come true for the young crew who will be driving the official #abarth 500 R3T with number 92 on one of the toughest races of the entire 2018 season - 1389 kilometres in total, of which no fewer than 317 kilometres over 20 special stages all on dirt roads. The special show stage on Circuito di Ittiri on Thursday will be followed by the three legs of the rally on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Two great champions will be by the side of the two newcomers to tutor them during the race. Giandomenico Basso and Gigi Pirollo were on the Dream Team panel that examined the Aci #rallyitaliatalent sponsored by #abarth contestants.
Being signed up for the Rally d'Italia Sardegna was the prize for Andrea Nori and Sofia Peruzzi, the absolute winners of the 2018 Aci #rallyitaliatalent sponsored by #abarth. The event was a remarkably success: 7338 contestants, over 20,000 trials, 100,000 kilometres driven and nearly 200,000 spectators. Information and the form for signing up for the 2019 edition are available on the www.rallyitaliatalent.it website.
