The Bardahl Evan Bros. World SSP team and rider #randykrummenacher has closed day two of practice and Superpole; having completed yesterday’s timed practices in third place, the rider therefore qualified directly for today’s Superpole2.
In the morning, in cloudy but hot conditions, Randy first completed the final practice session, finishing third with a time of 2’03”622.
In Superpole2, Krummenacher pushed hard right from the start and was able to set an excellent time of 2’03”274 mid-session. Coming in to put in a new tyre, exactly the same as the previous one, Randy was unable to improve further, the rear tyre not providing him with the necessary rear grip.
Krummenacher nevertheless concluded in second place overall and will therefore line up on the front row of the grid for tomorrow’s 16-lap race.
