Flash commercial results of Peugeot in the 1st half of 2019

PEUGEOT market share in Europe is steady (6.9%, +0.03 Pt) despite declining markets.

  • -  PEUGEOT is the only brand of the top 5 to increase its PC market share.

  • -  PEUGEOT is in top 3 in the B2B and B2C channels (+ 1 rank) in PC.

  • -  PEUGEOT is leader in the B2C channel PC in France.

Success of the #peugeot range.

- The previous LCV 2018 sales record is broken in the first half of 2019 (147 000 sales vs 145 000 in H1 2018), with in particular #peugeot Boxer (+ 2%, which cumulates 500000 sales since its

launching) and #peugeot Expert (+ 15%).

  • -  The upmarket move continues with a world mix of the Upper versions (GT Line, GT and GTi) at 21%.

  • -  The new #peugeot 508 is leader of its segment in France.

Lower sales in the first half of the year due to the stop of the sales in Iran and to the fall of certain international markets.

  • -  The stop of the accounting of the sales in Iran on 1 May 2018 still penalises the comparison with the results of the first half of 2019 with an impact of -144 000 sales.

  • -  The rest of the variation comes from the fall of certain international markets (China, Argentina and Turkey), in which #peugeot privileges the profitable sales.

Positive prospects for the second half-year.

  • -  Electrification of the range in progress with the 100% electric #peugeot e-208 and e-2008 and

    Hybrid Plug-In versions of #peugeot 508 sedan and SW and #peugeot 3008 (2 and 4 WD).
