Jean-Philippe Kempf has been appointed PEUGEOT’S Communications Director

Jean-Philippe Kempf, 57, has been appointed #Peugeot Communications Director as of 1st May 2021. His remit will include the management of all the Brand's communication: Products, Press Relations, Sport, Events and Influence, including social media, internal communication and partnerships.

He will report to Thierry Lonziano, PEUGEOT'S Marketing and Communications Director.

Jean-Philippe Kempf holds a master's degree in philosophy from the University of Strasbourg. He began his career as an #automotive journalist at AUTOhebdo in 1987, before joining the editorial staff at AutoPlus.

In 1991, he joined GM France, where he was product press officer for the Opel and Lotus brands. In 1993, he joined Opel/Vauxhall’s new European press relations team based in Rüsselsheim, Germany.

From 2000 to 2005, he joined GM Europe's Motor Shows team in Zurich, where he was responsible for trademark licensing for the GM Group brands in Europe.

In 2005, he returned to Opel/Vauxhall in Germany, where he was responsible for the brand's product communication. In 2017 he became Director of International Brand & Product Communications, Events & Motorshows for Opel/Vauxhall.

Jean-Philippe Kempf will be taking over from Eugenio Franzetti, who will take up a new position within the Stellantis Group.
