Borilli Racing on the third step of the podium in junior 1 with Sergio Navarro


After the inaugural GP of the 2021 season of the World #enduro Championship in Portugal, the #enduro circus moved to Edolo (Bs) for the usual and long-awaited appointment with the Italian GP for the weekend of June 25-27, 2021. A weekend full of emotions for the Borilli riders who battled on a race course of the highest level designed in an excellent way by the Moto Club Sebino and supported by a large and enthusiastic cheering of the public flocked to the Italian home of #enduro for this highly anticipated world event.

Three special tests in the program to be repeated four times during the race weekend with a PS1, #enduro Test, very technical and insidious, a PS2, Cross Test, very difficult and fast and in closing a PS3, Extreme, located along the shore of the river Oglio and then characterized by sandy and stony ground.

The Borilli riders Alex Salvini, Bruno Crivillin, Dan Mundell and Sergio Navarro took part in the race equipped with 7 DAYS #enduro SOFT tires, ideal for the rocky and sandy conditions of the Extreme Special Test and the hard and dusty ones of the Cross and #enduro Test.

The Spanish rider Sergio Navarro has won another podium in Italy with a third place in the Junior 1 class, confirming an excellent form and great speed that make hope for new satisfactions in the continuation of the season.

The Brazilian rider Bruno Crivillin raced in the E1 class a race made of ups and downs with a good race pace showing speed, a growing state of form and a greater familiarity with European races. His final score is an 8th position in the E1 class and a good dose of confidence for the continuation of the season.

Another difficult race instead for Dan Mundell. The English rider, who has been out of races for all of 2020 due to a serious injury to his right leg, unfortunately broke his thumb in a race of the English Championship, injuries that are now compromising the current season as confirmed by the retirements in both GPs just passed. Arrived at Edolo motivated to impose himself among the protagonists of the E2 class, Alex Salvini, raced after an injury suffered at the GP of Portugal. The Bologna-based rider tried to start at the GP of Edolo but the pain was too strong and on Sunday took the painful decision to retire.

The #enduro circus stops now for a short break and then return in July for the double appointment of the GP of Estonia and Sweden.
