The first day of practice took place today at the Barcelona circuit, which this weekend will host the eighth round of the 2021 Supersport World Championship. For the #cmracingteam #randykrummenacher, replacement for the injured Luca Bernardi, took to the track for the first time and immediately showed his great skills. The Swiss rider in fact took second place in the combined classification of the two sessions.
In the morning Krummenacher took to the track for FP1, during which he began to take his first steps together with Team Director Manuel Cappelletti and the whole team in terms of set-up and confidence. The number 21 put together 16 laps, taking a splendid second position just 47 thousandths from the top of the classification.
In the afternoon it was time for FP2, where Krummenacher once again shone, despite a crash in the final part of session at turn ten without consequences. During the course of the session Randy put together 15 laps, again obtaining second place, this time just a few thousandths (67) off the top spot.
Krummenacher and the #cmracingteam got off to a flying start and can look forward to tomorrow's Superpole (10.25) and Race 1 (13.45). Both sessions will be visible live on Sky Sport Action, channel 206 of Sky.

Randy Krummenacher: "Today went better than expected. After three laps I understood the great potential available to me and I could really do what I wanted to be fast. We worked well straight away and got along very well. I'm really happy to be back among the fastest riders: now I'm calm and confident, and I can't wait to get back on track tomorrow. I really have to thank the #cmracingteam, my sponsors and my family for the great support".
