Kawasaki Puccetti Racing welcomes Pietro Caprara

Kawasaki Puccetti #racing continues to develop, in terms of both its structures and personnel. After inaugurating a new, multi-functional hospitality unit last year, this season's changes relate to its technical staff, the team now able to count on one of the world's most experienced technicians - #pietrocaprara.
After graduating in mechanical engineering and developing some #automotive projects in a design capacity, Caprara started out on his motorcycle #racing journey in 1996, with Kenny Roberts' team in the 500 world championship. Over subsequent years, he worked with top-level teams in 500, in 250 and then in MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3, flanking and providing technical support to riders who have contributed to the history of the sport, the likes of Luca Cadalora, Norifume Abe, Alex Criville, Jeremy McWilliams, Casey Stoner, Alex De Angelis and Andrea Dovizioso.
In recent years, Pietro has worked as Crew Chief for the SKY VR/46 #racing Team and the Aprilia #racing Factory Team MotoGP, supporting Aleix Espargarò, Andrea Iannone and Bradley Smith. All without interrupting his studies, among which a MICAP Master in High-Level Coaching stands out.
This year he will be Team Manager for #kawasakipuccettiracing, coordinating both the Supersport and Superbike teams.
Welcome Pietro!

Pietro Caprara: "This new experience is an honour and a pleasure for me. We'll start by aligning and exploiting Kawasaki Puccetti Racing's human resources, optimising and highlighting the value of its individual members so as to share a common vision for growth and the achievement of increasingly important goals. I will be the Team Manager of both squads, tasked with coordinating the crew chiefs and supporting their work, and defining the project's goals and vision. My first experience was at the Jerez tests in January, where I had initial contact with the team. I have a lot of faith in the Supersport rider package, with Can Oncu and Yari Montella, as well as that of Superbike with Lucas Mahias, and we'll do all we can to support them, for a season as frontrunners".

Manuel Puccetti:"We're honoured that #pietrocaprara is now part of our team. He is undoubtedly a key figure on the international motorcycle #racing landscape. Pietro is a highly esteemed technician with more than 25 years' experience in the world championship, alongside riders who have won across all categories. I was very keen to introduce a new Team Manager who can take my place with a view to developing our team, both technically and professionally. I will be able to focus on management and the search for new sponsors, so as to financially support our ambitious projects which, for 2023, will see us double up on our Superbike riders. A challenging and far from easy goal, but I will work hard to achieve it, as we continue to strive to grow. Always!".
