Encouraging steps forward for CM Racing Team in Misano test

The 2022 season is fast approaching for the #cmracingteam, which carried out its final two days of testing at the #misano World Circuit "Marco Simoncelli" ahead of the official #dornatest, which will take place on Monday 4 and Tuesday 5 April at #motorlandaragon

During the test held in #misano the Roman team was able to continue, together with its rider #maximiliankofler, to get to know the #panigalev2955, a bike that will make its debut in the #2022worldsupersportchampionship. On the first day of work, staged on Wednesday, Kofler continued the work plan started in the previous tests, obtaining good responses, despite a crash without consequences in the morning.

In the second day Kofler has immediately improved its references, approaching the first positions of the category and working at the same time on some changes of set-up. The Austrian rider took full advantage of day 2, completing 48 laps and managing to stop the clock at 1'39"081.

Now it's time for the #cmracingteam to analyse the large amount of data collected during the two days, in order to refine the weapons in view of the last test and especially of the first round of the new season, scheduled in Aragon on the weekend of 10 April.

Maximilian Kofler: "These were two very different days. On the first day I struggled a bit, mainly because of the crash, which took away my confidence. On the second day we took a big step forward, trying different things and improving in many ways. I have a great feeling with the team, so I can only be confident ahead of the last test and the first race of the season".

Manuel Cappelletti (Team Director): "It was an important test, in which we tried the last things before going to Aragon. The crash on the morning of the first day was a shame, also considering the encouraging time set by Max, who was riding at #misano for the first time with such a powerful bike. On the second day we worked on the electronics and the front end and found a good base set-up. We are satisfied with the work we have done over the winter and with the bike, which shows great potential in every run".
