Race 1 in comeback for Kofler and CM Racing Team at Assen
First race day for #cmracingteam in #assen, where race 1 took place today. In the first of the two races #maximiliankofler tried to do his best, finishing the race - interrupted with four laps to go by a red flag - in 20th position.
Before the race there was the Superpole, which determined the starting grid. The young Austrian rider took to the track making the most of the great work done with the Roman team yesterday, clocking up nine laps and taking 27th on the grid.
At 15.15 it was time for race 1. Kofler started well, immediately recovering some positions. In the following laps Max fought with several riders for a place in the top 20, ending his race in P20.
Tomorrow the #cmracingteam will be back on track for the warm up (9.25) and especially Race 2 (12.30).

Maximilian Kofler: "It was a difficult race, despite the positive start. The tyres were in really bad condition towards the end, so I couldn't push as hard as I wanted to".
Manuel Cappelletti (Team Director): "Max drove a decent race. He was fighting for 20th place right from the start but the tyre wear in the later laps penalised us. For tomorrow we expect more".
