Fantic towards the EnduroGP 2023 season finale for the first of two GPs in Portugal

The 2023 #endurogp World Championship reignites its engines with the first of two GPs in Portugal, where the fate of this season will be decided.

During the summer break, #fantic won two national titles: Kevin Cristino dominated the Italian in the 125 class, while Jed Etchells won the British one, taking the overall title and the E1 class.

At the top two places in the Junior class are two Fantics: the XEF 250 of Jed Etchells (JET #fantic Racing) and the XE 300 of Albin Norrbin (Fantic Racing).

The Englishman and the Swede have been the season's protagonists: Jed conquering the first two GPs and three victories of the day, while Albin has set the pace by winning the last three GPs, with as many consecutive victories of the day.

Both can count on the help of their teammates, Harry Edmondson and Gianluca Facchetti, respectively.

Kevin Cristino is the leader of the Youth class after a string of eight victories in the first eight days of the world championship, riding the #fantic XE 125. Kevin is determined to defend his position by repeating the results that have taken him to the top of the standings, winning more than half of the special stages.

The #fantic #racing team will be completed by Lorenzo Macoritto (Enduro 3) and young Valentino Corsi (Youth).

Simone Albergoni (Fantic #racing #enduro team manager): "We are coming to a very heated end of the season. Kevin has to maintain the concentration he had at the start. I believe a lot in Albin, and I'm confident. As for the other guys, they have been training hard, and it would be nice if a podium finish came from them as well."

Franco Mayr (team manager JET #fantic #racing Enduro): "In Portugal, we will defend Jed Etchells' lead in the Junior class, and he will do his best to keep the lead. Moreover, the victory in the British championship has strengthened him ahead of these two races. Harry Edmondson has been training all summer to prepare himself in the best possible way for these two races and is looking forward to proving his abilities.
