3 podiums in EnduroGP and a 5th place in X-Trial.

The final of the 2023 FIM #enduroGP Paulo Duarte World Championship took place this past weekend in Santiago do Cacem. Our #Sherco Factory #racing Factory riders finished on the podium in 3 categories.

The FIM X-Trial World Championship restarted on Saturday in Andorra la Vella, Benoit Bincaz finished 5th.

EnduroGP World Championship:

Only 5 days after the penultimate round, the final meeting was once again in Portugal. All the participants of the Paulo Duarte FIM #enduroGP World Championship, met in Santiago do Cacem for the final round.

The motorcycle club had organized a technical course that consisted of three laps that were more than 60 kilometers long, punctuated by 4 timed special sections, a very spectacular 1.2 km extreme special with lots of rocks, an Enduro Test in the sand, a Cross Test on hard terrain and an enduro Test of more than 2 km. Spectators came in large numbers to encourage the riders.

During the Supertest, Hamish MacDonald and Zach Pichon finished in 4th and 5th positions respectively.

Zach Pichon was 3rd provisionally in category E1 before the final, he fought hard to keep his place. He was able to climb onto the 3rd step of the podium on both days but fell back to 4th position in the E1 Championship standings behind Jamie McCanney who made a spectacular comeback in very challenging conditions.

Hamish Macdonald set the fastest time on Saturday's first special and posted good lap times the whole weekend. He finished 5th on both days and closed the season in 3rd place in the E2 category.

Absent due to injury last week, Antoine Magain made his return to #enduroGP to try to maintain its 3rd place in the E3 general ranking. Mission accomplished! 7th on Saturday, he managed to reverse the trend on the last day, he finished on the podium and retained 3rd place in the E3 championship.

Morgan Lesiardo finished the final in 8th position on Saturday and 9th on Sunday. He finished 4th in the final ranking in E3.
