Alpine crowned in the French FFSA GT Championship

  • Active in the category since 2018, #alpine has added a first title on the French stage to its GT4 record.
  • The #a110gt4evo topped a highly competitive field in the Am Cup of the #frenchffsagt Championship.
  • In addition to seven wins from twelve races in their category, #laurenthurgon and #alainferte put in a series of excellent overall performances with the #55 Autosport GP LS Group Performance #alpine.

Alpine competes in many motor #racing fronts, including GT4 since 2018. Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show that same year, the A110 GT4 designed, developed and fine-tuned by Signatech quickly stirred the enthusiasm of numerous teams, drivers and motorsport fans.

Competing against genuine references right from its competitive debut, the car confirmed its huge potential with a maiden victory on the European scene just a week later at Spa-Francorchamps. Success in France came with the car's second appearance in the #frenchffsagt Championship at Magny-Cours before the historic triumph of Pierre Sancinéna and Pierre-Alexandre Jean in the GT4 International Cup at the Bahrain International Circuit.

In its relentless quest for improvements, Signatech launched the #alpine #a110gt4evo in 2022. The technical teams paid particular attention to the gearbox, turbo and engine block, switching to a dry sump from the wet sump on the other versions of the A110.

Very quickly, the teams showed their confidence in the A-arrow brand, demonstrating the progress made with several crews switching to the Evo in 2023. Among them, #laurenthurgon and #alainferte caused a sensation in Autosport GP LS Group Performance's maiden campaign in the #frenchffsagt Championship.

Forming one of the most popular duos in the paddocks and boasting decades of experience at all levels, the two men performed one feat after another to clinch the Am title ahead of the season finale. Freed from pressure, the pair from the Lyon-based team put in another faultless performance in their class to celebrate their coronation in the best possible way at Circuit Paul Ricard.

At the conclusion of a prosperous season, the #55 #alpine #a110gt4evo crew triumphed with seven wins and eleven podium finishes in twelve races. Their team-mates from the Gilles Zaffini run squad, Pascal Huteau and Joran Leneutre, also scored two wins in the Pro-Am class and regularly finished at the sharp end of the overall field.

Alpine is proud of these performances and would like to congratulate all the crews competing in the A110, as well as thank all the #people and teams who have made it possible for the brand to excel on the national and international scene with the A110 GT4 and #a110gt4evo.
