Ana Carrasco and the Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha Team together in the Women's Motorcycling World Championship

The Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha Team is pleased to announce the start of an exciting new adventure. The team from Ravenna will in fact be at the starting line of the first Women's Motorcycling World Championship, supporting one of the fastest women in the world: Ana Carrasco.

Born in Murcia on 10 March 1997, Ana can boast five years' experience both in the Moto3 World Championship, where she competed last season, and in the Supesport300 World Championship, where in 2018 she concretely wrote history, becoming the first female rider able to win a world title.

Ana therefore presents herself in the Women's Motorcycling World Championship as one of the riders to beat, being able to count on the support of a two-time World Champion team. The Women's Motorcycling World Championship, where all riders will ride a Yamaha R7, will be spread over six rounds as part of the WorldSBK race weekends: the first round is set for the weekend of 16 June, at the Misano World Circuit "Marco Simoncelli".

Ana Carrasco
"I am really happy to announce this new adventure. I will compete in the Women's Motorcycling World Championship together with the Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha Team, one of the strongest teams in the Superbike paddock, and the goal can only be to win races".

Fabio Evangelista (Team Principal)
"The collaboration with Ana fills us with pride. We have always been Ana's fans, and when the possibility of working together arose we were immediately available. We will try to support her in the best possible way: we will carry out the first tests as soon as possible, so that we will be prepared for the first round of the season"
