With the first round in Australia World Superbike officially kicks off for the Aprilia racing team

Things are getting serious now: this weekend the 2013 Superbike season will start, with the Aprilia Racing Team committed to defending the double championship title they won last year. The team from Veneto has already been in Australia for a few days as they chose to take part in two pre-season test sessions. The test results were comforting for the two Aprilia standard bearers: Eugene Laverty continued working on fine tuning the set-up of his RSV4, especially to work with the new Pirelli 17 inch tyres, while Sylvain Guintoli put in some important kilometres on a bike which is new to him.
