Monteblanco: Second day of testing for the Mercedes-AMG DTM Team at the Circuito Monteblanco in Spain. On Wednesday, the two DTM champions, #pauldiresta and #garypaffett, both took over the cockpit of a new Mercedes-AMG C 63 DTM to continue the #test work that their Mercedes-AMG colleagues Christian Vietoris and Robert Wickens had begun on Tuesday.

Overall, the two Mercedes-AMG DTM drivers completed 199 laps of the 3.357-km track, which equates to 668 km. On the timesheet, they slotted into P4 (Paul Di Resta, 1:21.836 minutes) and P5 respectively (Gary Paffett, 1: 22.062 minutes).

On the first two days of testing, the team covered a total of 1,312 km in the new Mercedes-AMG C 63 DTM. #pauldiresta and #garypaffett will also drive on Thursday which is this week's final day of testing.

"That was a productive day for us. I covered a lot of laps and was able to complete my planned programme. We as a team can be satisfied. We intend to build on what we've achieved tomorrow and gain further insights for Hockenheim. My impressions of the new Mercedes-AMG C 63 DTM are very good so far."

"The DTM winter break is quite a long one, so it was really great to be back in the car. Unfortunately, we didn't complete as many laps today as we would have liked. Hopefully, we'll be able to make up for that tomorrow. I'm looking forward to doing more laps in the new Mercedes-AMG C 63 DTM."
