2020 Dakar - Stage 11: Sherco TVS Rally Team is closing in on the goal!

After 11 stages that have been very rich in emotions, the #sherco Factory Rally Team has arrived at the door to the final stage of this Dakar with Frenchman #adrienmetge leading the team!
After the consecutive losses of Johnny Aubert and Lorenzo Santolino for medical reasons, Adrien found himself as our only rider still in this 2020 Dakar race (Harith Noah is now in the "Dakar Experience" category). With a whole team behind him, Adrien still carried the team on his solid shoulders in this penultimate stage.
After a shortened stage 10, the riders set off this morning for the second part of this marathon stage. This stage consisted almost entirely of sand which also included many potential traps! Both of our #sherco TVS Team riders fared extremely well, they both arrived and their machines were in perfect working order.
Adrien Metge - 17th : It would be a lie if you were told that it was a quiet day for Adrien. He was a victim of a fall yesterday, Adrien fought against back pain and finished this stage in pain. His behavior has been exemplary and his riding close to perfection. Remember that Adrien was called on at the last minute to participate in this Dakar. Despite this very short preparation, he showed an all-round tough mentality and was determined to cross the finish line.
In the general classification, Adrien is 12th, he is on the lookout for the slightest opportunity which could allow him to integrate the top 10. However, what ever happens, Adrien has succeeded in this rally with honors.
Harith Noah - 25th : Harith continues to progress in this this 2020 Dakar. Day after day, he continues to climb up in the daily ranking. For the first time, he joined the top 25 in this stage. A very good performance for the team's rookie.
The end is near. The final stage is tomorrow and it will not be a leisurely stroll. The organizers want to finish this 2020 Dakar the same way they started it with another difficult stage. They have included 374km of special in the program before reaching the finish in the city of Qiddiya.
