Sérgio Jimenez takes Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY series lead in Mexico City

The #jaguaripaceetrophy returned for round three bringing Mexican heat to the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez circuit.

Battling closely with series contender Simon Evans throughout the race, #sergiojimenez implemented a bold ATTACK MODE strategy to take the lead of the series after his second win in a row.

Japanese driver, Takuma Aoki, navigated the track well securing his first podium finish while making history becoming the first disabled person to compete in an international electric race series.

Local VIP driver Mario Domínguez secured a P3 finish - becoming the first VIP driver to make the top three in the #jaguaripaceetrophy series.

The Safety Car was deployed after two minutes due to contact with Jaguar China #racing driver David Cheng and Mashhur Bal Hejaila, ending both drivers’ races. On #green flag, the front four drivers activated ATTACK MODE to take advantage of the overtaking opportunities down the straight.

Former podium finisher Alice Powell had a frustrating race suffering with two punctures.
