Kawasaki Puccetti Racing – Due gare complicate per Fores al Motorland Aragon
Si è concluso oggi al Motorland #aragon di Alcaniz in Spagna, il quinto round del #campionatomondialesuperbike. Nella giornata di ieri Xavi Fores, il pilota del #kawasakipuccettiracing, aveva disputato la Superpole e a seguire la prima gara del weekend.
In Superpole lo spagnolo aveva ottenuto il quindicesimo posto ed era quindi partito dalla quinta fila in gara1, conclusa al tredicesimo posto.
Questa mattina Fores è tornato in pista per disputare la Superpole Race, che si è disputata come sempre sulla distanza di 10 giri e che, come in gara 1, lo ha visto scattare dalla quindicesima casella della griglia.
Nei primi giri Xavi è transitato al diciassettesimo posto, ed in seguito non ha trovato lo spunto per migliorare la propria posizione ed ha concluso al sedicesimo posto.
Nel pomeriggio si è disputata gara2, per un totale di 18 giri. L'andamento della gara di Fores ha ripetuto quello della gara sprint. Quindicesimo nel primo giro, in quelli seguenti il pilota del #kawasakipuccettiracing non ha trovato un ritmo veloce ed è riuscito a recuperare soltanto due posizioni, tagliando il traguardo al tredicesimo posto.
Il prossimo appuntamento con il Campionato Mondiale Supersport è fissato per il weekend del 18,19 e 20 settembre sul circuito di Barcellona in Spagna.

"Il mio feeling con la #moto è migliorato, però su questa pista perdo molto in accelerazione e sul lungo rettilineo. Non riesco a tenere le scie delle altre #moto e perdo in rettilineo quello che guadagno nelle curve. Ho cambiato il mio stile di guida per adattarmi alla #moto e ora riesco a guidare come piace a me, ma purtroppo ci manca qualcosa in termini di potenza ed accelerazione. Faccio tanta fatica a sorpassare e devo forzare le staccate per restare nel gruppo. Sono comunque fiducioso e spero di fare meglio nel prossimo round, anche perché posso contare sull'aiuto della mia squadra che lavorerà con la consueta abilità per risolvere questo problema".
Kawasaki Puccetti #racing – Two complicated races for Fores at Motorland Aragon
The fifth round of the Superbike world championship concluded today at Motorland #aragon in Alcaniz, Spain. During yesterday, #kawasakipuccettiracing rider Xavi Fores took part in the Superpole and the first of the weekend's races.
In Superpole, the Spaniard finished fifteenth meaning he started race one on the fifth row, ultimately crossing the line in thirteenth position.
This morning saw Fores return to the track for the 10-lap Superpole race. As in race 1, he lined up in fifteenth place on the starting grid. Xavi was lying seventeenth through the first laps and was unfortunately unable to find the drive needed to improve his position, the Spaniard eventually crossing the line in sixteenth place.
Race 2 played out in the afternoon over a distance of 18 laps. Fores' race followed a similar pattern to the sprint. Fifteenth on lap one, the #kawasakipuccettiracing rider struggled to find good pace and was only able to make up two positions before crossing the line in thirteenth place.
The next Superbike world championship round will take place over the weekend of 18-20 September at the Barcelona circuit in Spain.

"My feeling with the bike has improved but at this track I'm losing a lot in acceleration and down the long straight. I can't remain in the slipstream of other bikes and lose on the straight what I gain through the turns. I've changed my riding style to adapt to the bike and can now ride as I want to, but unfortunately, we're missing something in terms of power and acceleration. I really struggle to make passes and have to force my braking to still with the group. I'm still confident we can get there though and hope to do better at the next round, also because I can count on my team who will continue to work with their usual skill to solve the problem."
