L'Evan Bros. #worldssp Yamaha Team è lieto di comunicare che, in seguito al controlli effettuati dal personale FIM sul motore utilizzato da Steven Odendaal nei primi due round della stagione, non sono emerse irregolarità di nessun genere. L'ispezione svolta in questa occasione fa il paio con quella effettuata nel corso della stagione 2020, anch'essa terminata senza il rilevamento della minima irregolarità.
Un epilogo del tutto previsto dal team Campione del Mondo in carica, che sin dal suo debutto nel mondo delle due ruote ha sempre rispettato il regolamento vigente nella propria categoria di riferimento, in linea con la sua filosofia di motociclismo pulito e leale. Dopo questa ennesima conferma della regolarità e della bontà del lavoro svolto sinora, l'Evan Bros. #worldssp Yamaha Team è pronto ad affrontare il proseguo del campionato mondiale Supersport 2021 con serenità, e voglia di confermarsi ai vertici della categoria.
Fabio Evangelista (Team Principal): "Non sono sorpreso di quanto emerso dai controlli effettuati dal personale FIM, dato che siamo certi della regolarità del nostro lavoro. Le prestazioni della nostra Yamaha YZF-R6 sono senza dubbio di alto livello, ma queste sono il frutto di un continuo lavoro, che ha consentito al pacchetto 2020 di compiere un ulteriore passo in avanti. Nei mesi invernali il nostro gruppo di lavoro, diretto da Mauro Pellegrini, ha lavorato senza sosta per arrivare a questi risultati, quindi spero che da oggi in poi non vi siano ulteriori illazioni circa la nostra presunta irregolarità. Ringrazio tutti i nostri sponsor per il loro continuativo supporto, e non vedo l'ora di vivere con loro il proseguo di questa stagione".

The Evan Bros. #worldssp Yamaha Team is pleased to announce that, following the inspection carried out by FIM personnel on the engine used by Steven Odendaal in the first two rounds of the season, no irregularities of any kind were found. The inspection carried out on this occasion follows the one carried out during the 2020 season, which also ended without the slightest irregularity being detected.
An epilogue expected by the reigning World Champion team, which since its debut in the world of motorcycling has always respected the regulations in force in its reference category, in line with its philosophy of clean and fair motorcycling. After this further confirmation of the regularity and goodness of the work done so far, the Evan Bros. #worldssp Yamaha Team is ready to face the 2021 World Supersport Championship with confidence and a desire to be again at the top of the category.
Fabio Evangelista (Team Principal): "I'm not surprised by what has come out of the checks carried out by the FIM staff, as we are confident in the regularity of our work. The performance of our Yamaha YZF-R6 is undoubtedly of a high level, but this is the result of continuous work, which has allowed the 2020 package to take a further step forward. During the winter months our team, directed by Mauro Pellegrini, has worked tirelessly to achieve these results, so I hope that from now on there will be no further speculation about our alleged irregularity.
