Kawasaki Puccetti Racing – Round di casa per Lucas Mahias a Magny Cours in Francia
Si disputerà questo fine settimana al circuito Nevers #magnycours in #Francia l'ottavo round del #WorldSBK ed il settimo del WorldSSP. Per #lucasmahias, il pilota #kawasakipuccettiracing in Superbike, si tratta del round di casa. Il pilota francese è reduce dall'infortunio al polso destro a seguito di una caduta ad Assen. E' rientrato in pista nel precedente appuntamento sul Circuito di Navarra in Spagna di due settimane fa, ma purtroppo le sue prestazioni sono state condizionati dal dolore al polso sinistro. Ora le sue condizioni sono ulteriormente migliorate e Mahias spera di essere al 100% per dare il massimo davanti al proprio pubblico. A Navarra Lucas ha conquistato un eccezionale sesto posto in Superpole, ma poi in gara ha sofferto a causa delle sue condizioni fisiche. In gara1 è stato vittima di una scivolata, mentre nella Superpole Race ed in gara 2 ha ottenuto rispettivamente il quindicesimo ed il quattordicesimo posto.
Per i due piloti del WorldSSP Can Oncu e #philippoettl il round spagnolo non è tato per niente facile. La particolare conformazione della pista ha messo in difficoltà le #moto dei due alfieri del #kawasakipuccettiracing che guardano con fiducia alle gare di #magnycours per tornare nelle zone alte della classifica. Oettl punta alla sua prima vittoria stagionale, mentre Oncu vule conquistare il suo primo podio in questa categoria.
Il circuito Nevers #magnycours si trova in #Francia nel dipartimento di Nievre nella regione della Borgogna. E' stato costruito nel 1960 ma solo negli anni 80 ha iniziato ad assumere un importanza internazionale. Negli anni il tracciato francese ha subito poche modifiche, realizzate con l'obiettivo di creare maggiori possibilità di sorpassi. Alcune curve hanno il nome di altri circuiti (Estoril, Adelaide, Imola, Nurburgring) in quanto riproducono curve presenti su quelle piste. La pista è lunga 4.411 mt. ed ha 17 curve, delle quali 9 a destra e 8 a sinistra. E' la ventesima volta che l'autodromo di #magnycours ospita i mondiali delle derivate dalla serie, la prima nel 1991 ed in seguito ininterrottamente dal 2003 al 2021.

Home round for #lucasmahias at #magnycours in France
This weekend, the Nevers #magnycours circuit in France will host the eighth #WorldSBK round and the sEventh WorldSSP round. For #kawasakipuccettiracing rider #lucasmahias, competing in Superbike, this is his home round. The French rider recently injured his right wrist in a crash at Assen. He returned to the track for the recent Navarra round in Spain, which ran two weeks ago, but unfortunately his performance was conditioned by his painful wrist. His fitness levels have now improved and Mahias hopes to be 100% in order to be able to give it his all in front of his home crowd. At Navarra Lucas scored an exceptional sixth-place finish in Superpole, but then struggled during the races due to his physical condition. In race 1, he suffered a crash before closing fifteenth and fourteenth respectively in the Superpole race and race 2.
For the two WorldSSP riders Can Oncu and #philippoettl, the Spanish round was not at all easy. The particular track layout caused problems for the #kawasakipuccettiracing riders' bikes, the pair now confident that can be back up front at #magnycours. Oettl seeks his first win of the season, while Oncu is looking for his first podium in this category.
The Nevers #magnycours circuit is located in France in the Nievre department, in the Bourgogne region. It was built in 1960 but only started to take on international importance in the 80s. Over the years, the track has undergone few changes, made with the aim of creating more opportunities to pass. Some of the turns take the names of other tracks (Estoril, Adelaide, Imola, Nurburgring) in that they reproduce corners that feature at those tracks. The track measures 4411 metres and has 17 turns, of which nine are right-handers and eight left. This is the twentieth time that the #magnycours circuit is hosting the production-derived bikes, having first staged the #Event in 1991 and then uninterruptedly from 2003 to 2021.
