CUPRA and Barça fans perform the famous chant 'Un dia de partit'

On 26 October, FC Barcelona will play a Champions League game against Bayern Munich. CUPRA’s new video campaign focuses on the fans and one of the most iconic chants in the stadium (FC Barcelona also has its own anthem), a symbol of their unwavering support. The video gathers members of Barça supporters’ clubs in L’Auditori de Barcelona before they – in unison and with their hearts beating as one – sing ‘Un dia de partit'. It’s a campaign created by the fans for the fans.

More than 350 Barça supporters signed up and only 50 of them were selected to perform. Translated as ‘A matchday’, the chant is all about the emotion and unconditional support of the Barça fans no matter what and being always there when the team needs them.

As part of CUPRA’s innovative partnership with the club, the campaign shows that FC Barcelona is “more than a club”. That’s why fans in the video performed the song in two languages: in Catalan, as the language fans sing in the Spotify Camp Nou, and German, to make opponents understand the impulse of Barça fans has no barriers.

Antonino Labate, Director of Strategy, Business Development and Operations at #cupra, said: “CUPRA, the unconventional challenger brand, created an emotional support campaign as part of our innovative partnership with FC Barcelona. This campaign is for the players but, above all, for the fans. They’re the people who never stop supporting their team and who continue to inspire the world with their passion for football.”

The end of the video features #cupra ambassadors Ansu Fati and Marc-André Ter Stegen, who embody the two brands’ shared DNA of blending style and emotion with the highest performance, as well as Andreas Christensen, Alejandro Balde and Robert Lewandowski.
