DS Automobiles on the hunt for new titles in season 9 of Formula E!

- Season 9 of the ABB FIA Formula E championship gets underway on Saturday 14 January in Mexico City
- DS Automobiles, run by PENSKE AUTOSPORT, has a clear objective: to win back the double titles (Drivers and Teams) claimed in 2019 and 2020
- The two drivers of the #dsetense FE23 are reigning champion Stoffel Vandoorne, and Jean-Eric Vergne, the only double champion in the history of the sport
The Hermanos Rodriguez circuit in #mexicocity will kick off Season 9 of the ABB FIA Formula E championship this Saturday 14 January. It’s an important date for the 100% electric series, marking the debut of the latest GEN3 car.
Encouraged after a strong performance at the official tests in Valencia (Spain) last December, DS Automobiles now embarks on the latest Formula E season with a solid technical package and an exceptionally talented driver line-up.
Driving the more powerful and efficient third-generation #dsetense FE23 developed by DS Performance reigning champion Stoffel Vandoorne from Belgium, and Jean-Eric Vergne – Formula E’s only double champion – firmly aim to bring DS Automobiles more victories.
Thanks to the experience accumulated by DS Performance in designing the fully electric powerplant, as well as its software expertise, the marque is ready to continue its hunt for victories and titles with new partner PENSKE AUTOSPORT.
Season 9 marks the debut of a brand new single-seater at the cutting edge of technology, and the ABB FIA Formula E championship remains a powerful way of accelerating research and development for DS Automobiles, which will exclusively sell 100% electric cars from 2024.
