Akrapovič Is Off to Red Bull Erzbergrodeo

Akrapovič is making its way into Austria for four days of the most compelling and gruelling motorsport as Red Bull Erzbergrodeo rides into town.
This event is one of the most demanding on the planet, and it takes riders and machinery to the absolute limit, making it an ideal testing ground for the durability of Akrapovič exhausts and the perfect platform to demonstrate the company's latest range of off-road exhausts. Having been a partner of the event since 2019, this year's edition will again feature the Akrapovič Speed Challenge, an ultimate speed test, in which the competitors race against the clock on a special section over a demanding gravel surface. The racers will try to set the fastest time to determine the overall winner, with the quickest rider taking the plaudits and a cash prize of €1,500.
This four-day spectacle between 30 May and 2 June will be the second round of this season's FIM Hard Enduro World Championship. With a course set in an open pit mine in Styria, Austria, the punishing track ‒ known as the Iron Giant ‒ rises 1,466 m above sea level and provides the ultimate test for components, making it the ideal assessment arena for the durability and reliability of Akrapovič exhausts. This gives the company the perfect opportunity to demonstrate its products and display the build quality, smooth power delivery, and throttle response of its lightweight titanium off-road exhausts on a course that consists of treacherous terrain, rock and boulder gardens, and forestry climbs. With jumps and countless turns that are raced over in the various classes during the four days, this is an event that only the bravest can survive.
Akrapovič will also be showcasing its latest wares at its booth at the Red Bull Erzbergrodeo Arena. Featuring the newest exhausts for KTM, Husqvarna Motorcycles, and GASGAS, the current range has been developed through years of success at the pinnacle of two-wheeled racing, leading to the latest design, which adds strength and durability to withstand the demands of Motocross and Enduro, two disciplines that produce vibrations and high peak temperatures, alongside the possible damaging effects from stones, sand, and mud, and the obvious danger of crashes. All of these can have an impact on the performance and look of the machine, and Akrapovič exhaust systems have been designed to factor in and withstand almost every eventuality.
