Kawasaki: Moto podium for Steven in Germany
Steven Frossard recorded a moto podium finish for the Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team in the German round of the FIM World MXGP Motocross Championship at Teutschenthal.
The ebullient Frenchman was once again able to show his skills and determination as he forced his way to fifth place before the end of the first lap of the opening moto and continued to charge hard until he reached the third position which he held to the finish of the race.
Steven had every prospect of an overall podium finish in the Grand Prix as he again moved quickly into the top ten in the opening stages of race two but a bizarre incident as a rock shattered the lens of his goggles forced him to withdraw from the race.
Steven is now sixth in the world championship points standings.
